Eating healthy in Boquete

I plan to arrive in Boquete this week to soak up this beautiful area and culture for a couple of months. As a vegetarian I will be seeking to purchase fresh vegetables, grains, beans, and fruit for meal preparation at my apartment. Also I plan to enjoy vegetarian friendly area resturants during our visit. This will keep us fueled up for all the hiking we plan to do. I am requesting your input and recommendations for purchase of this type of food and restaurants that are vegetarians friendly in Boquete. Thanks!
