I'm having a really tough time with money transfer. My specific example... 2 1/2 weeks ago I went to my bank in USA, filed for an international wire transfer of $8000 from that bank to my bank (Scotiabank) here in Boquete..... I still have not received the funds here.
After several emails, it seems I am dealing with for different banks, my credit union, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Scotia. I have been asked questions such as "what are you going to do with the money?" I'm now being told the funds are hung up with Bank Of America.
I'd like to establish a "new" bank account in USA that does not go thru all of this rigmarole.
Suggestions?
