I lived in Costa Rica in the seventies, and visited Panama often. I am considering a return... to Panama, to setup a small business .. I will be importing supplements, like Vitamins, and repackaging them, for export. Will I have to pay duty on my raw material imports ? Also, as I will be 'processing' in Panama but selling to the outside world, will my sales be considered as foreign earned income and therefore be tax free ?
