Hi, all! First post to the Panama forum.
Like several others, my wife & I are considering relocating to Panama in a temperate area. Since there have been several cities mentioned in other threads & very sketchy and/or conflicting weather information, I was hoping that those who have actually lived in some of the cities listed below would be able to provide meaningful information such as normal high & low temp's for different months, humidity & rainfall. I don't expect a full table of data; perhaps the warmest & coldest months of the year? I am not especially heat-tolerant these days, so highs in the mid-80's are best. And of course, we don't really want to move to an area where it pours buckets of rain for months on end.
The thing is that we have very limited time available for our 1st visit & will probably have to chose between areas in the east, somewhat near Panama City, or western cities, near Boquette for example. So any data for cities mentioned as well as others that you have visited or lived in that would fit our needs would be much appreciated!
The basic list (starting in the east):
1-La Chorrera
2-Anton Valley
3-other recommendations?
in the west:
4-Boquette
5-Volcan
6-La Concepcion
7-Dolega
8-Palmira
9-your personal favorite?
While I need climate/weather data, if you have any other info you'd care to share it would be welcome also!
Thanks in advance!
