Advice for move to Panama

Hi all! I am a young woman considering a year long move to the Clayton/City of Knowledge area of Panama this fall/late summer.

I have friends in the country, but not in this area, and am looking to make the move to explore new career options and perfect my Spanish. I currently speak and write but not with complete fluency.

I have 2 questions: does anyone have any recommendations for finding a teaching/NGO job in Panama?

Second, does anyone have any suggestions for finding cheap housing during my stay? I was planning on trying to find a roommate or rent a room, but I would love to move on the ultra-cheap. Thanks!
