I've spent over a WEEK searching night and day 11 different on-line websites, and STILL have not found a NICE place to rent that will allow our well-mannered dog ! We'd be great tenants (and we're getting very discouraged) !
So ! Now I'm going to try a different approach and post on forums such as this one for some possible assistance.
Here are the facts: We are happily married, mid-50's, very clean and responsible. We recently sold our beautiful home of 23 years and are retiring to Boquete. We arrive for a 6 month stay November 1st. We desire a small house with nice furnishings, covered patio & laundry. Hoping for a yard, nice kitchen, and quality bed. Our 6 month stay ends April 23rd when we return to sell a rental property. Willing to pay a Pet Deposit, looking to pay $ 950 or less per month rent, all included.
We have 1 medium large dog, Max. He's 2 years old, neutered, well trained, and does not dig or chew. We keep him clean and use a grooming tool that keeps dog hair outside where it belongs. We always pick up after him. He doesn't bark while we're gone but does bark when someone comes to the door, then settles down quickly.
We have 30+ years experience remodeling homes, owning rental homes, and as homeowners ourselves. We're coming from the Seattle, WA area (US). We're friendly, helpful, resourceful, responsible and would care for your property BETTER than if it were our own (because it's not !)
We plan to explore Boquete for 6 months to decide where to settle and we are looking forward to peaceful nature walks with our wonderful dog. We are confident we would be excellent tenants and would love to hear from you if you have a place that meets this description (or know of someone who does).
