Panama City Metrod

One reason my wife enjoy living here so much is that we have no need for an automobile here. We use taxis, Uber, walk a lot and often take the Metro to get around locally and rent a car when we need to for longer trips outside the city,

On recent trips on the Metro, trains at times that in the past were almost deserted are now packed. I read that usage has far exceeded expectations . . . which has been the case in the US where fixed rail public transportation is being added . . . and that additional cars are being added to existing trains . . . 5 cars rather than 3, and that additional 5 car trains will be added as well. However I don't find a time line for these upgrades.

Also, I haven't found an estimated completion date for line 2.

Anyone know more about this?
