Quote for a new Toyota

I contacted Toyota in Panama City for a quote on a new Toyota SUV.
The price for the exact same model was 30% more expensive than in the USA.
Is this the same for all brands or only Toyota? I know that Toyota is the main brand in Panama but the difference seems like a rip-off.
