Flying Back To U.S. from Boquete, Panama

What is the cheapest way to fly back to the U.S. from Boquete? I have a small dog so I can't take a bus to Panama City and it cost twice as much to fly from David. I checked rental car prices and they want $220 to rent a car for one day because I would pick it up in David and drop it off at the airport in Panama City.
