Panama Heat compared to Florida

Hi guys!
I was wondering, what is the hot humid weather in Panama down at the beaches in Coronado etc. like compared to the heat in Southern Florida?
I mean, Florida has about the same temperatures maybe 5-6 months of the year, but is the humidity the same during that time?
Or does it feel hotter in Panama?
And, what about bugs?
Are there more biting bugs in Panama (again beach areas), or in Florida? Or is it about the same?
