My husband and I are looking into other locations to retire. If course, Panama always comes up on lists. Our top priorities are healthcare, cost of living, housing and crime. I'm sure you've heard this before. He retired earlier to get away from a high stress job. We don't think we can stay in U.S. because of healthcare mostly and we don't own our home. We do have retirement funds. I would like warm. Don't mind rain, just prefer sunny and warm. He likes rain. How uncomfortable is the best there? I love Hawaii but we would have to resort to a tiny house or container home in a lot. Trying to research our options. International living ranks these places but I want to hear from you who live there and from world travelers. We are researching Costs Rica, Italy, Uraguay, Belize. Any help appreciated.
