Surfing expat

35 year old soon to be expat here. i want to live the dream and surf every day! i have va disability so fixed income of 1900 or so a month. im looking for opinions on places to affordably live and surf! priority goes to surfing over comfort/ convenience.

No i haven't been to Panama, my Spanish is mas o menos. im planning on a 2 month trip to Boca to surf and do a intensive spanish class.

i will obviously check out the vibe when im there but i was just looking for the main surf towns around...

so far it looks like snata catalina, Plya Verano, and or Pesdasi, any other hidden gems maybe a little further off the beaten path?
