Am I being an idiot?

I am coming to Panama to set up the apartment I just bought. The apartment has nothing in it so I decided to bring a few items in my suitcase that I will need on day one: frying pan, set of spoons/forks, a couple of extension cords, towel set, knife set and a few other household items similar in nature. I know I could buy all these in Panama, but the goal is to save time as I only have a week to set up the whole apartment. My question is whether I will have any problems going through customs at the airport with anything other than clothes? Does anyone have experience or advice?
