U.S. electronics in Panama

Does anyone know if an H.P. printer that is wirelessly hooked up to a laptop here in the U.S will function properly in Panama, and are there H.P. products even sold there? Or is it not worth bringing it with? Since I know how this one connects I'm afraid if I get a different one I will not be able to connect it properly since I am not too good with technology and have no idea who would help me with it? I will certainly need to be able to scan documents to attorney! Thank you.
