I am now visiting David, and will be heading to Boquete soon. While wandering in David, at first sight, the city looks really poor and repulsive, with awful buildings, sidewalks in bad shape, trash everywhere and people selling on the streets. But beyond the terrible visuals, there are quite some commercial activities, and you can find lots of goods of reasonable quality. I believe David is much more developed (regarding the economy) than it looks at first sight.
While there are many interesting shops that sell at the same time furniture, household electronical, a few laptops and large TV screens, I did not find any shop dedicated to computers where you could find more computer options and high-end computer screens. I could find here and there a 19", maybe 21" screen (with just one option) in a shop or two, and that's it. If you want to buy a 27" screen or even larger, and maybe even have a few options regarding the quality of the screen, how do you proceed in David (or Boquete, say) ? Same question if you want a high-end computer (laptop or desktop) ? Since you cannot order on Amazon, and since you are too far from the capital city, I am not sure how you should proceed.
