Large denomination bills

A refresher for most but maybe news for those new to the country or about to move over here. Denominations over $20 are not readily accepted in most locations and if you have someone do some work for you don’t try to pay them in $50 or $100 bills. Over the weekend an indigenous friend who does some work for us sometimes came over with a $100 bill that someone had given him for some work he had done and asked if I would change it for him. He was getting worried because he couldn’t find anywhere that would take it.
