Expat fishing spots

Hello all, I'm recently retired from the Army and I am looking to join some expats in Panama for a couple months this year to learn some of the ropes.

My interest is being in an area that offers decent fishing in the Jan-Feb time-frame. I am looking for a 1-2 bedroom with kitchen, preferably in or near town. Other than that I am flexible to where the location is.
Any advice would be appreciated from you living there. Thanks
