USA Tourist - Attempted Robbery at Gunpoint

Venezuelan Oscar Ysturiz Herrera was convicted to 10 years in prison for attempted robbery involving a USA retirement age tourist and illegal possession of a firearm, by a Panama Court the Public Ministry (MP) reported Friday.

The attempted robbery occurred on Wednesday in Vía España, against a 66-year-old American.

The sentence, achieved through a penalty agreement, was delivered in an act of hearing in which the Public Ministry of Panama was represented by the prosecutor Anilú Batista of the Litigation Section.
