Hi, First post and First trip to Panama.
Hoping in 5 years to be living there if our exploration and plans all go well.
Coming to Panama in Jan. from Calgary. Renting a car in the city to avoid the drive from PTY airport. Plan to use Uber from PTY as it got good reviews on efficiency and price. Correct?
We are planning on one day from Panama City to drive up to Gamboa / Gatun / Fort San Lorenzo
I have read that the road is a toll road. Is that correct? and if so I also read that it is a cash toll system not a transponder / electronic system. Is that also correct?
Are there any other Toll roads in Panama I need to be aware of and prepared for? We will be traveling (for 3 weeks) into mountains, Boquette and Bocas as well.
