Hi to all, I'm looking at Panama for investment only, I have the person that could manage my property in Panama because is recommended by friends, but I need more feedback to understand if its worth to invest in property in Panama or not now.
The recommendation this person gave to me is to buy in Coco del Mar, so a property of US$ 300000 will get a rent of US$ 1300 aprox and we are talking about a condo that is not new, is near 5 years old, 140m2.
I don't have plans to live in Panama but my purpose is about investing in property, so I will be glad to have some recommendations from people that are living in Panama.
- I saw online that the real estate pricing were falling since 2016, so buying a property today means it could be cost less in the future.
- Seems there is low liquidity of the properties, so it could be not so easy to resell my property.
- How about the renting,, could be rented an apartment in Coco del Mar area fast or it will take time? I see lot of rent offers, but a lot, so is not clear to me how fast could be to rent an appartment there...
- Some people told me that there is a massive migration of chinese people, this could good or bad in the near future?
- Taxation for properties changed a bit, below US$ 120.000 price cost you wont pay taxes, is this correct?
Seems the yield return is below 4% and I need to understand if it is worth to do the investment now taking in consideration the risks...
