I've spent the last several weeks reading through posts on this board, which has turned out to be a great resource for me.
My wife and I are looking to come to Panama in the next few months on a bit of an exploratory journey to see if we continue looking at Panama as our destination of choice for retirement.
Narrowing down our search to a few regions, we have decided to explore Pedasi first as it seems to best suit our current and (planned) future lifestyle.
A few quick questions if possible:
1. Are there ATM's or bank machines in or around Pedasi, and if so - do foreign (Canadian) cards work in them?
2. What would be the best and worst season to visit? By worst, I mean weather wise. If we don't enjoy the area at its worst, then the reality doesn't match the fantasy and might not be a permanent fit.
3. When looking for accommodations, are there "better" resources online to locate them, or is it common to come across scam sites?
