Retirement in Panama

Hello everyone and God bless! New to the Panama forum and I would like to know the ins and outs of retirement in Panama. First of all, I'm retired US Air Force, US Civil Service and I receive SSDI. I possess BC/BS federal employees program and Tricare for life health insurance. Are any or both accepted in Panama where I will have to pay little out of pocket ? Was considering retirement in the Philippines but their healthcare system scares me to death. Basically, no money up front for a deposit then you die, Normally a deposit is required up front and the remainder of the bill paid upon discharge, No pay, you don't leave.
