I'm also moving an LCL container to Bocas and have done a lot of research on the best way FOR ME to get what I need to BDT.
I only have 250 cu ft to move, and Bocas Containers quoted me $399 from Miami to Isla Colon, which it's a great price. However, It would cost me approx $1100 to get it to Miami from Galveston.
Someone mentioned Devi, Inc., but they told me they only deliver to Manzanillo, and I'm waiting to be approved to join the "Florida 2 Bocas" shipper FB page...
"iContainers" had an ad up a few days ago (it's gone now) that they would ship a 20' container from Houston to Isla Colon for $942, which is a great price if it's still available. I've got a salesperson checking on it for me. He said he thinks it's door-to-door but I should know more soon.
Does anyone know of a place I can store my shipment on Isla Colon while I look for a rental? I've done a Google search and nothing turns up except the airport...
