COVID Vaccine To Be Required For LAUSD Students Prior To Returning To Campus!
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Students at all Los Angeles Unified campuses will be required to get vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to their return to in-person learning, officials said Monday.
In a pre-recorded briefing cited by the Los Angeles Times, Supt. Austin Beutner said the requirement would be “no different than students who are vaccinated for measles or mumps”.

Legal precedent was established in 2009
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) said that U.S. employers could require employees to be vaccinated against the flu in its 2009 guidance on pandemic preparedness.

“Yes, for the most part, employers can mandate that employees be vaccinated,” University of Michigan law professor Kate Andrias told Healthline. “However, there are some exceptions.”
