Medicare

For the past 15 years they have been taking Medicare B out of my social security. Right now it is 138 dollars a month that they take out. I have never once taken advantage of Medicare because I live in Panama. I haven't been back to the US for over ten years and have no plans to ever return. So I am wondering if I should cancel Medicare B since I could use the additional money. I can use the public hospital to fix my hernia after I get my vaccinations for COVI. The public hospital is cheaper than an airline ticket. I am a Panamanian citizen so the public hospital has to take me. I will be 80 year old in a couple of weeks but I am in good health other than needing to have my hernia fixed. Any opinions?
