There is a very nice public library downtown that offers a variety of services. You don’t have to get a library card unless you want to borrow books to take home.
They have used books for sale and some to give away. Please donate anything you don’t want to keep.
They have books in English, Spanish and other languages.
They also have several computers with which you can access the internet.
Many free live programs are available including Spanish and English classes.
If you happen to be passing by and want to rest your feet, there are comfortable seating areas both inside and outside. There is also a snack bar.
In fact, their furniture is more comfortable than anything in my rental apartment and I plan to spend a lot of time there while my wife is at the massage spa a few doors down: Another bargain at $25 per hour for expert therapeutic massage.
