I'm curious to hear from any expats settled east of the city (Cerro Azul for example), or even those who considered that area of Panama before choosing to head west.

There's much to appreciate about all the options on the west side, but I'm not sure I want to be 2+ hours from the airport. Especially while we wait to see what's going to happen with the regional flights.
