We almost have all our plans finalized for our trip to Panama in a few weeks. We are exploring Panama City, Bocas Del Toro and Boquete on our first trip. Trying to get our bearings and figure out what area we would be most comfortable owning a home. But this trip will be a lot of fact finding, fun, and exploration.
Was very uncomfortable having to send our passport #'s, credit card and ID info to Air Panama via email in order to book our flights between Panama City/Bocas/David. Is that a normal practice? We were unable to make reservations on their website. Seems to have worked out okay and we have our flights confirmed but I hope all of that information is deleted post haste.
Now we are trying to book a flight from Bocas to David but it is impossible to reach Bocas Air. The website will not accept payment for reservations and just goes back to their home page when you hit the payment link. Phone calls go unanswered at all hours of the day. Starting to think we might not be able to reserve this flight until we are there and I'm concerned it won't be available by then. Back up plan is to get back to Almirante, find transportation to the Changuinola airport, rent a car and then drive to Boquete. If anyone has advice on how to reach Bocas Air I would be grateful.
