Anyone have suggestions on how to meet a potential wife (expat or Panamanian), particularly in the Volcan/Tierras Altas area? I would normally (a) attend social events, or (b) use a serious e-dating website meant for longterm relationships, like eharmony. But the pandemic has shut down virtually all social events, and eharmony isn't available in Panama.
I'm aware of Volcan's Friday market for networking. And in time I'll meet and get to know more expats who might know someone. But I can't find anything else happening socially right now.
In preparation for future public dances, does anyone know where I might get salsa lessons around Volcan?
A local barber suggested I try the bar scene, particularly Hotel Alta Vista. But I fear most single women at bars are looking for 1-night hookups, not longterm relationships. Am I wrong on this? I'm not a bar-attending guy normally.
Web articles tell me that two e-dating sites, latinamericancupid and badoo, have the lowest proportion of fake profiles meant to snare an innocent person. Can anyone vouch for either?
