New Friendly Nation Visa Rules

Just wondering if there's any thought here on how the new Friendly Nation rules are going to affect younger people coming to Panama? I personally know a number of younger families that are interested, but this could cause them to have second thoughts. 200K is a lot of money to sink into a country that you aren't positive you'll stay there your whole life....

I know the immigration lawyers have been super busy processing last minute Friendly Nation applications......do you think once they get into the flow of the new ones that there will be a way for younger people to come still? Will the government reconsider at all? Do they want less younger people coming?
