Hello everybody. Iam new on this forum and joined because is a great site to meet nice expats like me from around the globe wich is something i always wanted but did not have the time since i was always.......WORKING, lol, well i finally retired,two years ago and went to south america to travel and to see all the wonders the americas has since iam bilingual { speak fluently spanish},better than english including an accent,lol again, so guess what.?, went to SA, and boom got hit with the covid 19 pandemic and stayed more than i was planning, [2 YEARS], sogot tired there and once they eased travel restriccions i decided to come to Panama and fall in love with this beautifulL country ,but came here unprepared went to you tube saw all videos from expats already living here and desired to stay so i asked a lawyer and he told me i needed FBI background check fingerprints and my SSA proof of income letter but i would like to know if anybody here on this forum can tell me if i have to go to the states to do this or if ican do it from here lawyer says i have to go there and do it and bring it here so PLEASE HELP i will appreciate any advice ,you beautiful people can give me ,THANK YOU THANK YOU.
