Wind In Boquete

Hi all. I’m considering Panama for a place to retire in. I was thinking Boquete would be ideal since I don’t want high humidity and 90 degree weather. Problem is I don’t like cold wind either, and I’ve read recently that Boquete can be really windy especially in the dry season. And that you often need a jacket due to how cool it can be. If this is true, where’s a good location, not too hot and not too cool? I’ll be visiting for the first time in September.
