Will Visit Panama for 2 weeks beginning mid June

My wife and I really enjoy reading the posts from Expats in Panama. We plan to spend 2 weeks (last half of June) exploring this beautiful country. We will begin by renting a car in David and make our way up to Almirante and then to Bocas del Toro Isla Colón. Question, will we be able to take our car by ferry to the island?
Next stop will be Boquete and Volcan for a few days and then down to the beaches on the Pacific. I wish we had more time to go more places because we are actually evaluating the prospect of moving there. I know we are going to enjoy meeting a lot of you Expats!
