I am coming to Nueva Gorgona in July to spend a month on a workvacation.
The cost to rent a compact car looks to be around $800-$1000. Since I will be working during the week and not need a care, this seems like setting money on fire.
I would prefer just using a taxi to venture out to restaurants and shopping, and look at doing some tours on the weekend for exploration.
But I have heard that taxis in the area may be difficult to find and it is preferable to have a car. I looked into an agency in Coronado for doing car rental over the weekends, but they do not do 2 day rentals.
Any suggestions regarding taxis or weekend car rentals would be greatly appreciated.
