At this time, I am waiting for my passport and after receiving it go through the waiting period (I believe it is 3 months). I am starting to reach out now to get a head start on things. I have done my homework on what needs to be done for this to happen (just looking for advice) My thought process is to come down for a week or two and check out any possibilities I already have interest in and any other rentals that are not online (which I understand that most are not). Pick one out, do the paperwork, and fly back to Illinois to get my dog and stuff I am taking and basically fly right back. At least that is the game plan which I think is definitely doable as long as I have my ducks in a row. One great thing is that round trip fare for me to Panama City is around $200 round trip (crazy, right?) so coming back for stuff or to visit friends is not a budget breaker. I welcome any suggestions or comments and maybe meet new people. I look forward to reading any feedback!
