Buyer agent commission

I am selling my apartment here in Panama on my own. I paid to list on the local website. A buyer showed interest but is out of the country , so said he would have his friend come view apartment for him. His friend came and sent him more pictures. The next day found out his friend was a realtor.
Question if I sell to him, do I pay his realtor a commission even though I didn’t hire a realtor, also I didn’t know she was an agent! If I do have to pay, how much?
