Panama City hotels?

Hi, my partner and I are just beginning to look at a move to Panama. We will fly into Panama City and probably visit Coronado area to start. My question is upon arrival in PC what hotels can some of you suggest? We don’t need to stay at the Ritz but I also don’t want to stay at a red roof inn type, any help would be greatly appreciate it.
