Banking Questions

Hello everyone! I'm stuck in the US until the end of 25'... but have decided on Panama for my retirement. I was in Costa Rica recently and the infrastructure is horrible. Cars in Panama are much cheaper and the housing is also on the lower side and just plain nicer. I wanted to transfer my entire $$$ from my Charles Schwab International account to a Panama Bank but it seems the deposit fees are very high? As in how high? There CD interest rates? I want a complete break from the USA system. Heck, I don't even want to watch any USA news after I leave. Too much drama. Thanks!
