IT Remote Service Desk Work?

Hey y'all.
I've been working in the IT industry since 1998. I've been examining doing some IT telephone support work and living in Panama. It would just be to pay the day to day bills. We can invest in real estate through the Friendly Visa right now, but I'd be reluctant to head out without a day to day job in place. Anyone have any pointers or direction? We've visited Bocas a couple of times and would love to end up in that area.
