Work permit and permanent residency

Hi, my husband and I are considering Panama for living. He is close to retirement age, I still have 12 yrs until retirement. I would like to give art workshops, perhaps air b n b rental and sell my artwork. (I'm a professional artist). How easy is it to get a work permit? Also, if we buy a home work $300,00 do we get immediate permanent residency? Also, if my husband is retired by then, can we get permanent residency as a married couple (through his retirement) even though I'm not in retirement age yet. Thanks for your advice
