Banco Nacional New Remote Access

Does anyone know how the new remote access platform for Panama's Banco Nacional is supposed to work? Previously, we could transfer funds to another Panama bank through a token (or "ficha") that resided on our USA mobile phone (we reside in the US).

However, the platform is changing now and will require that a Panama 8-digit mobile number be registered (as of 14-Sep). I suspect the token will go away and the mobile will be used for 2-factor authentication. Wondering if there are any workarounds here.
