Howdy from Canada! Right now I've narrowed down retiring to cooler mid/highlands of Panama no specific region but not interested in Boquete ATM. I have booked a country wide relocation tour in spring/summer 2025.
Can any locals speak to the climate of Volcan/Dolega/Potrerillos? I'm looking for a cooler climate than the beach or maybe a warmer one with light winds. Hence the focus on Volcan/Dolega/Potrerillos.
Is Volcan very gloomy and rainy in the wet season like Seattle or Vancouver? What are typical daytime winds and temperatures? I'm wondering as a lot of the Volcan youtube videos I've watched show folks wearing light jackets and long sleeves and feel it might be too cool...
Can any local speak about Dolega weather? Is it primarily overcast in the wet season? Is it warm but with light winds or is it very hot?
Wondering the same for Potrerillos, is it more long sleeve type weather or is it very warm with light winds?
appreciate any insights!
