Stage 4 Prostate Cancer

In January 2023, I was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 4 prostate cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes. Thankfully, by December 2023, my doctors were able to get the cancer into remission.

As my wife and I are considering moving to another country, my biggest concern is what the healthcare would be like if the cancer were to return. I would really appreciate any insights from people living in Panama or Costa Rica, especially those with experience navigating healthcare for serious conditions.

We’ll likely be living off of our US Social Security, with investment funds as a backup for emergencies. Any advice or personal experiences would be incredibly helpful!
