Hi. My sister and I will be coming to Panama in March 2026. Most importantly, she and I will be looking at condos or apartments in El Valle de Anton as this appears to be the most disability friendly place. My sister isn't moving here with me, but my husband is in a wheelchair and needs to be able to get around on his own. First off, can anyone tell me if there are other towns in Panama where a disabled person can live and has good sidewalks or paved roads or trails? Secondly, can anyone recommend a knowledgeable realtor who speaks clear English and has a gung ho attitude regarding my husband's needs? We're also looking for a place that either has an elevator or is on the first floor with no steps and the entrance is flat? It's a lot to ask, I know, but it's what we need. I'm also willing to speak with an owner whose looking to sell or rent and has this type of living space. Thank you in advance for your help.
