No passport stamp

I entered Perú by way of the airport in Lima. I find immigration isn't physically stamping passports. What do I do to have proof of entry and allowed days ? I was told I was given 90 days but do I need to carry proof ?
I didn't notice the fact my passport wasn't stamped until later.
Thanks
