Living in Peru

I just recently rescued a dog from the street and need to wait to get his vaccinations and medical treatment done before he can go to the states. I only planned for a month of backpacking but want to stay in Peru for the long haul. I’ve been here for just under two months and was wondering if I went back to the US, saw my family for a couple weeks and came back to Peru, would I have any issues getting back in?
