Hi all,

I am currently an American citizen living and working in Italy but have applied for a couple jobs in Warsaw with a very well-known NGO. I have the right to work in Italy but not the EU. If this organisation is interested, I will need a work permit to take up employment there. Just wondered if any Americans had any experience in getting a work permit in Poland and what it was like. I managed to get a freelance permit in Italy but the work I am seeking in Poland would not as a freelancer.

Is it fairly easy if one does not currently have the right to work in Poland or is it, like Italy, a crap shoot?

Thanks.

Gary
