Visiting Bovec

Hi, I am going to visit Slovenia this September. Especially I am interested in Bovec. I have red a lot about the place in internet but would like to get some individual views from "real" human beings.
Some suggestion where is the best
place to stay ( I need about 7 nights), how is the weather ussually in September? I would be grateful for any ifo about social life in there, clubs, restaurants, any activities in this time of the year. Kris.
