ive bought a bungalow in Denia Spain and own it outright, no loan,mortgage or anything on it.Its a two bedroom,one bathroom,kitchen, diner with small garden and terrace out front, a nice size inner patio at back and a good size roof terrace with sea views.Ive furnished it and flown back to Uk.It also has room upstairs which is enclosed and be opened up to make one more bedroom and bathroom.
Im seriously thinking of selling up and moving there full time.Im 31 and my husband is 38.He runs his own company here in uk and we own our own house.If we sold up we would have enough money to live off from interest that we would get from our savings.We would then get jobs, dont mind if they are paer time, not very well payed, cleaner, pool cleaner, gardener etc.Would we allowed residence in Spain if we show them how much cash we would have in bank or would we only be allowed in if we get jobs ?
Looked at other web pages on this but they are very vague.How much could a couple live off per year in Spain.Here in uk our bills,. everything apart from hols cost £12,000 a year.So in Spain with no mortgage(our mortgage in uk is £550 a month)(or £6600 a year) so uk bills with no mortgage would be only £5400) living in Spain should be even cheaper than this???What is a realistic figure for us, small two bedroom bungalow, eat out once a fortnight,,, eat local produed food, drink,,,, dont buy fancy clothes,,,???? Any info would be great,,,, have you moved there? how much do u spend????
