We are a retired couple (61 and 69 years) currently living inland about 30 minutes from the Costa Calida beaches. Love our house but I still very much miss the greenery and rivers etc. of the UK. Therefore, we have been exploring new areas, still within the Murcia region, which can offer us the kind of setting we want. We would be prepared to move some distance if necessary but need to be within a fair distance of airports and good sized towns with good health facilities. I realise that looking for good weather, greenery and water without having to suffer lots of rain is probably an impossible task in Spain but there may be just the place we are looking for somewhere out there. If anyone can offer advice and/or information we would be most grateful.
